Leighton Yamaoka Obituary
Leighton Norio Yamaoka, 70, of Lihue passed away on September 3, 2024. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii on December 23, 1953 and conducted Building Maintenance for the State of Hawaii.
He is preceded in passing by his father, Norio Yamaoka.
Leighton is survived by his daughter, Aleishea (Ben Cheung) Yamaoka; son, Keanu (Cherri Coloma) Yamaoka; mother, Rose (Harold Matsunaga) Kurita Matsunaga; former wives, Marissa Yamaoka and Mila Yamaoka; brothers, Norman (Leah) Yamaoka, Marshall (Sheila) Yamaoka and Bert (Michelle) Yamaoka and numerous nieces & nephews.
Private family services were held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
