Linda Uohara Obituary
Linda Asayo Uohara of Lihue passed away on May 7, 2024 at the age of 81. She was born in Lihue, Hawaii on March 31, 1943 and was a travel agent and co-owner of H & L Travel
She is preceded in passing by her parents Robert Sr. and Florence Iwamoto; and her brothers, Sonny and Allan Iwamoto.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Howard Uohara; children, Tammy Fujikado, Stacy (Duane) Kong, Trisha (Ray) Vandevender, Chris Fujikado, Mike (Maile) Uohara, and Toni Matsumura; grandchildren, Vance and Chase Tokita, Brandon and Tretyon Kong, Jason and Tyler Vandevender, Emiko and Kiyoshi Uohara, Makeio and Teigen Matsumura; and her siblings, Robert Iwamoto Jr. and Arleen Contrades.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Lihue Hongwanji on Saturday, May 25, 2024 with visitation at 9:30am and services beginning at 10:30am.
