Louisa Tachikawa Obituary
Louisa Luika Tachikawa, 84, of Lihue passed away at Wilcox Medical Center on February 18, 2019. She was born in Kalihikai, Kauai on February 11, 1935 and she held numerous positions in Princeville and was an entertainer at Smiths Boat Tours.
Preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Tachikawa; parents, David & Louise (Haleakala) Niau; 19 siblings; grandson, Gavin Li’inuikane Hernaez.
Louisa is survived by her daughters, Halan (Sonny) Kamoku-Fernandez, Melinda (Herman) Hernaez, Edwina (Dana) Kamoku-DeMello, Francine (Tommy) Kamoku, Emmaline Kaili; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at The Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Lihue Ward with viewing from 9:30 a.m. and services celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
