Manuel Medeiros Obituary
Manuel Medeiros, 97, of Hanamaulu peacefully passed away on November 1, 2022. He was born in Lihue, Kauai on January 10, 1925 and retired as a supervisor with Lihue Sugar Plantation then went to work at Grove Farm as a Security Guard.
Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Mary Medeiros, wife, Alice Jerves Medeiros; sons, Calvin and Rodney Medeiros and grandson, Donald “Butch” Collins.
Manuel is survived by his sister, Marlyn “Molly” Kuhaulua; granddaughters, Alyssa (Hanson Hsu) Kaneakua and Cherina (Tony Laborte) Medeiros; grandsons, Richard Medeiros, Joel Marquez, Calvin Jesse Medeiros; 18 great-grandchildren; cousin, Billy Richardson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Poipu Beach Main Pavilion from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
