Margaret Gonsalves Obituary
Margaret M. Gonsalves of Lihue passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 85. She was born in Pennsylvania on January 9, 1940 and did Secretarial work in Department of Social Services for the State of Hawaii.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, Russel & Mary Lahuta; husband, Stanley Gonsalves; Son-in-Law, Leroy Hutchinson and granddaughter, Maile Malloy.
Margaret is survived by her children, Mary (Chad) Delanoza of Kekaha, Christine Hutchinson of Lake Stevens, WA, Joseph (Hieu) Malloy of Bellingham, WA, Theresa (Ryan) Wa`alani of Kalaheo, Melissa (Byron) Freitas of Kalaheo; grandchildren, Donia Kaohi, Chaslee, Dalen and Noah, Delanoza, Anthony and Andrew Hutchinson, Joseph, Alyssa and Nicholas Malloy, Charissa and Ryson Wa`alani, BJ, Jenessa and Shyann Freitas; 5 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 7th, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Church. Visitation will begin at 8:00 am with services to follow at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
