Maria del Rosario Garza Obituary
Maria del Rosario Garza, of Princeville, passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 73. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on July 25, 1950.
She is preceded in passing by her parents Geronimo and Maria Luisa Garza.
Rosario is survived by her husband of 50 years David Montgomery and her three sisters, Alice Parr, Beatrice Covalt, and Frances Alvarez.
Prior to retiring to Hawai`i, Rosario was the Executive Director of the Southern California Library Cooperative (SCLC), and before that, worked for twenty years at the Bibliographic Center for Research (BCR) in Denver, Colorado.
