Mary Gandia Obituary
Mary of Kekaha passed away on May 13, 2023. She was born on July 31, 1933 in Koloa. She was a cook at St. Theresa School in Kekaha and at Waimea Dairy Queen where she later retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Gandia, grandson Kylan Gandia, parents Cicilio and Virgina Rivera, Siblings Manuel Rivera, Tony Rivera, Daniel Rivera, Joe Rivera, Frank Riveira, Bella Boreliz, Minnie Morales, Virgie Rivera, Marsha Stant.
Mary is survived by brother Bobby Rivera, daughter Duanne( Ben) M. Pescador, Sons Mark “ Marcos” (Verna) Gandia and Robert” Bitos” Gandia. 4 grandchildren Matt Kala, Holly and Kiara, and 10 great grandchildren Tinoa, Koedy Jayla, Kamalu, Keona, Kelani, Kahewai, Kahoku, Kaiola and Shylan.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday June 17, 2023 at St. Theresa Church in Kekaha. Visitation will be begin at 8:30am, a funeral mass will be held at 10:00am, and burial follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens after the service.
The family request casual attire and omit flowers.
