Matilda Anne Yaris, 82, passed away on October 24, 2023 in Lihue. She was born on February 26, 1941 in Wahiawa, Oahu and worked on Kauai as a caregiver.
She is preceded in passing by her husband of 32 years Lodrigo Doric Yaris; son Doric Dwayne Yaris; parents Peter Sr. and Annie Borrero; siblings Phillip, Raymond, Peter Sr., Richard, and Rudy Borrero and Posie Reese.
Matilda is survived by her sister, Sylvia Troche; children, Woletta (Steve Price) Laufenberg, Faith (Tony) Hickok, Michael Yaris, Jason Yaris, and Cynthia (Dave) Carter; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchildren.
Private services will be held by the family.
