Matsuko "Mats" Uyeda Obituary
Matsuko “Mats” Uyeda, 95, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her husband of 67 years Itsuo on November 21, 2022. She was born on Kauai on May 8, 1927 and worked with the County of Kauai as the manager of the Kauai Senior Center.
She is preceded in passing by her husband, Itsuo Uyeda; and her brothers, Francis, Wally, and Herbert Ida.
Mats is survived by her sons, Mark Uyeda and Eric (Lisa) Uyeda; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Kauai Veteran’s Center in Lihue on Saturday February 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM, with visitation beginning at 10:00AM.
