Matsuyo Seki Obituary
Matsuyo Seki, 95, of Lihue passed away at the Regency of Puakea on February 2, 2020. She was born on Kauai on January 4, 1925 and retired as a secretary from the Administrative Office of the ILWU Local 142.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Matsuji and Kawayo Maeda; husband, Hisashi Seki and 8 siblings.
Matsuyo is survived by her sisters, Myra Koide and Edith (Kenneth) Abe and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Matsuyo’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 22, 2020 at the Lihue Hongwanji Mission. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with services to follow at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will take place at Kauai Memorial Gardens at 2:00PM.
The family requests no Koden or flowers.
