Melaney Ha'o Bergado Obituary
Melaney Ha’o Bergado passed away on December 11, 2023 at the age of 61. She was born in Lihue, Hawaii on September 12, 1962 and worked as an Escrow Manager for Security Title.
She was preceded in passing by her son, James Kalani-Ha’o Bergado; parents, Juan Bergado and Emilia Tumacder; and her stepfather Ricarte Tumacder.
Melaney is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Lawrence Ha’o; her son John (Carin) Ha’o Bergado; her siblings Marylyn (Bradford) Lee, James (Jan) Bergado; and stepsister Sandra (Kendall) Sagisi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Kauai Veterans Center in Lihue. Visitation begins at 3:00 p.m. and services beginning at 3:30 p.m.
