Nicholas Shigeta Obituary
Nicholas K. Shigeta, 29, of Lihue passed away on May 25, 2026. Born on September 8, 1996 and raised on Kauai and was a laborer at Aloha Feed.
Nick graduated in 2014 from Kauai high school. He was gifted with an ear for music. He could play several instruments & had a beautiful voice.
He was preceded in death by his father, Layne K. Shigeta.
Nicholas is survived by his mother, Linda K. Shigeta; brother, Noah (Rebekah) Osborn; grandma, Alice Shigeta; uncles, Tyler (Rosie) Shigeta, Daryl (Martha) Shigeta, John (Didda) Pua`a; aunt, Florence (Jin) Pua`a; and great-uncle Donald (Charlene) Kanemoto.
He was truly loved by his family & friends. He chose to be baptized as a young teen. A celebration of life will be held at Lihue United Church on July 11, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM with services to follow at 11:00 AM.
