Parmalee Lois Dato of Kapa’a died on January 22, 2024, at the age of 69.
Born April 11, 1954, in Lihu'e, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed sharing cooking/baking recipes with her grandchildren and would often cook/bake with them.
She was preceded in death by her father Alfred Perreira, mother Violet Lawrence Gouveia Perreira, brothers Melvin Perreira, Jack “Jackie” Silva of California, George “Patrick” Silva of the Philippines, and sister Linda Cromey of Indiana.
She is survived by her husband Dennis W. Dato, children Dennis “DJ” (Haunani) Dato of Kilauea, Bryan Dato of Washington, Tamee (Darren) De Silva of Kapa’a, brothers Glenn (Cindy) Silva of Honolulu, Wayne (Anelle) Perriera of Lihu'e, sisters Cheryl (Rudy) Miranda of Moloa'a, and Corlene Rapozo of Lihu'e; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
