Pauline Caroline Street passed away peacefully at her home in Princeville on September 23, 2025 at the age of 88. She was born on December 13, 1936 in Ohio and worked in Art Education in Southern California.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, Gabriel & Mary Katona and siblings, Nick Katona, Mary Olsen, Gene Katona and Leona Smith.
Pauline is survived by her husband of 67 years, Nicholas “E Z” Street; daughters, Nicole Street and Vicki Street, 2 grandchildren; sister, Diana Cook and numerous other relatives.
She was an artist with a Master's degree, founded 3 Kauai churches, twice Mokihana Club President, Kilauea Point original volunteer, canoe paddler and snow skier, world traveler, missionary, quilter, clothes designer, swing and hula dancer, and has a charity fund that provides scholarships for all Kauai Island high school graduates and all nursing students, as well as community services.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 1, 2025, 10:00 AM, at Kauai Christian Fellowship Church, Lighthouse Rd., Kilauea.
