Prisco Ancheta Obituary
Prisco Ancheta of Hanamaulu passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 88. He was born in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on December 24, 1936 and worked as an irrigation worker for Lihue Plantation.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Florencio and Eduarda Padre Ancheta; siblings, Pedro (Helen) Ancheta, Juanita (Manrique) Malapit, Clemente P. Ancheta, Dominador Ancheta, Vivencio Ancheta and Filemon Ancheta; brother-in-law Amador Taclan.
Prisco is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Erlinda Ancheta; his children, Johnoel (Maryknoll) Ancheta, Jeannie (Sean) Andrade, and Sherry (Jim, Jr.) Ehia; siblings Eligio (Florida) Ancheta, Filipina Taclan, Jaime (Lucena) Ancheta, Rodolfo (Anita) Ancheta, Orlino (Perlita) Ancheta, Celestino (Michele) Ancheta, sisters-in-law Feliza Ancheta, Regina Ancheta, Leticia Ancheta, and Robita Ancheta; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Saturday, May 24, 2025 with visitation from 8:00am to 9:30am, funeral mass at 10:00am, and burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
