Raymond "Mackie" Duarte Obituary
Raymond “Mackie” Rocha Duarte, of Kapaa, passed away on January 12, 2026 at the age of 96. He was born in Hawaii on January 24, 1929, was retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and was a master tradesman.
He was preceded in passing by his parents Julio and Eliza Duarte, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Mackie is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Natacha Duarte, son Raymond (Eunice) Duarte Sr., daughters Debra Brede, Charlene Mahuka, and other extended children, 33 grandchildren, numerous great and great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday February 13, 2026 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kapaa at 11am. A Scattering of Ashes will be held on a later date.
