The Rev. Dr. James Fung (Kahu) transitioned from this temporary life on September 9, 2022 joining God and his wife, Faith to be together “all the time”.
Jim and Faith served God’s people and congregations in Connecticut, Michigan, Honolulu and Kauai. Jim enjoyed running half and full marathons and revising and trying new recipes in his kitchen, his favorite room in the house. He especially liked baking pumpkin bread, which Faith really enjoyed.
They have a son Ethan Englehorn in North Carolina and Daughter, Julia Englehorn in Berkeley, California.
Jim wishes to express deep appreciation to those who were understanding, caring, and supportive of him and Faith. And we want to thank God for the gift of their life together and for their Real Life together which will go on forever.
No public services have been planned at this time.
