Richard Machell Obituary
Richard John Machell, 85, of Kapaa, passed away at his home on June 30, 2022. He was born on July 18, 1936, in Middletown, Connecticut. He was preceded in death by his parents, Augusta and John Machell.
Richard had a long and respected career working in social services and was a staunch advocate for adults with disabilities.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Machell, stepsons, Parish Alan (Sharon) Ubongen of Washington and Karl Nicholas (Florinda) Ubongen of Lawai and Jason Lee Ubongen of Kapaa.
A private scattering of ashes will be held later.
