Robert Murata Obituary
Robert Katsuji Murata, of Kapaa, passed away on January 24, 2026 at the age of 88. He was born on Kauai on December 5, 1937 and was a Golf Professional, owned his own golf shop, worked at Hawaiian airlines and for the County at Wailua Golf Course.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Shonosuke and Shio Murata.
Robert is survived by his wife, Sachiko Murata; sons, Glenn Akira Murata and Randall (Mya) Hiroshi Murata; daughter, Colleen Montgomery; grandchildren, Darius Kawewehi, Tiani Montgomery, Brandon Murata, Hideki Murata and numerous nephews and nieces.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
