Romualdo “Rhomy” Bumanglag Basilio passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family by his side on October 10,2023. He was born on Feb.14, 1953 in San Nicolas, Philippines. He worked at Kiahuna, Sheraton and Hyatt, Kauai. He retired from Mcbryde and State of Hawaii, Judiciary. He also managed his own Janitorial Family Business.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael Basilio, his parents Eulalio and Alejandra Basilio, his in-laws Vincente and Eufemia Pablo, his brothers Cornelio (Clarita), Teofilo ((D) Salvacio), Felino(Dionicia), Florencio((D)Milagros, Bonnie)
He is survivd by his wife Marcelina ”Cely” Basilio, Daughter Rhocel (Keneke), Grand-daughter Gabrielle M. Basilio-Valdez, his brother Robert Sr. (Esther), his sisters Lucena (Agrifino) Bunsaan , Angela (Patrick) Tayamen , Caridad ((D) Victorino) Villanueva and nieces, nephews and cousins .
Friends may visit the family on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Church, Visitation begins at 8:30am-9:30 am, service at 10 a.m. and burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral.
