Sandra Itsumi Klutke, known to all as Sandi Kato-Klutke, a beloved matriarch, pioneering leader, and community pillar, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025. Beyond her professional achievements, she was a fierce and passionate advocate for the visitor and agriculture industries, serving on countless boards and commissions throughout her life, including the Hawaiʻi Lodging & Tourism Association, Kauai Planning Commission and the Kauaʻi Farm Bureau.
While her professional career was distinguished, Sandi’s true magic was found in her kitchen.
