Shawn Kala Obituary
Shawn “Sabala” Kia-Kekoa Kala, 44, passed away on July 24, 2025. He was born on Kauai at Wilcox Hospital on April 10, 1981 and worked at the Grand Hyatt Po`ipu as a Handyman and Maintenance personnel.
He was preceded in passing by his brother, Brian Delara Gushiken-Kala.
Shawn is survived by his son, Haven Ali`i Kala; mother, Debra Sullivan-Kala; his youngest brother, Blazen Jeffries-Kala and numerous family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be on Sunday September 14th, 2025 at Kalapaki from 11:30am till pau.
