Susan Uchida Obituary
Susan Lanette Uchida, 76, of Lihue passed away on May 14, 2019 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born in Modesto, California on October 23, 1942 and retired as a teacher with the University of Hawaii, Kauai Community College after 34 years. In 2008 the Board of Regents approved the title Emeritus Professor to Susan L. Uchida.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Betty Hoatson.
Susan is survived by her husband, Alvin Uchida; brother, Mark (Phyllis) Hoatson; sister, Jennifer Hoatson both of California and one nephew Jeffery Hoatson.
A celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
