Takato Sokei Obituary
Takato Sokei, 97, of Kapaa passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on June 8, 2025. He was born on Kauai on April 23, 1928. He was a Dairyman, Rancher and property manager for Sokei Dairy and Sokei Enterprises. He is an Army Veteran who served in the Korean War.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Ryoju & Uto Sokei; siblings, Lincoln Sokei, Elmer Sokei, Tokiko Taba, Sadae Sokei and Ryoko Sokei.
Takato is survived by his loving wife, Josephine Sokei; daughters, Ann (William Eddy) Sokei and Allison (Robert) Pratt; 4 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
