Tatsuo Anthony Nakamura, 95, passed away on February 15, 2023. He was born in Lihue on January 18, 1928 and worked as the Kauai Branch Chief Division of Conservation & Resource Enforcement, Department of Land and Natural Resources.
He was preceded in passing by his loving wife Katherine Nakamura; his son, Byron Nakamura; parents, Ranpei and Madeline Nakamura; brothers, Joseph, Hidemi, Torao, and Robert Nakamura; sisters, Madeline Louis, Dorothy Leong, and Mildred Nakamura.
Tatsuo is survived by his daughters, Leigh Nakamura, Gayle (Dean) Kuboyama, and Lisa Nakamura; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held by the family.
